In chemical processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and water desalination, pipelines often carry highly corrosive fluids that would melt or degrade standard EPDM or Nitrile rubber in days. While solid PTFE bellows exist, they lack the vibration-damping mass of a rubber joint. 1. Superior Chemical Inertness
At the core of the B-NAI solution is a precision-formed PTFE (Teflon) liner.
Universal Resistance: PTFE is virtually impervious to almost all industrial chemicals, including concentrated sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and organic solvents.
High Purity: For pharmaceutical and food-grade applications, our liners ensure that the flowing media never touches the rubber body, preventing contamination.
2. Advanced Bonding: Preventing Liner Collapse
A common problem with low-quality lined joints is that the liner can pull away from the rubber under vacuum conditions. B-NAI uses a specialized flaring and bonding process.
Flared Gasket Surface: The PTFE liner is flared over the rubber flange face, acting as its own gasket. This creates a continuous, leak-proof seal from the pipe interior to the flange bolts.
3. Mechanical Performance
Despite the lining, B-NAI joints maintain their core functions:
Vibration Isolation: The heavy rubber body continues to isolate pump noise and motor vibration.
Thermal Compensation: It accommodates the expansion and contraction of plastic or lined steel piping systems.
